Introduction to Skid-mounted Fueling Unit
The Explosion-Proof Skid-Mounted Gasoline Station is a ground fueling station that integrates fuel dispensers, explosion-proof storage tanks, explosion-proof vapor recovery units, and automatic fire extinguishers. It resembles a large shipping container, capable of being lifted and moved. It boasts all the functionalities of a fixed gas station. The skid-mounted fueling station features high integration: it occupies an area of 12 to 30 square meters and has an effective volume of 5 to 50 cubic meters. This skid-mounted station offers nearly all the functionalities of large and medium-sized gas stations currently in use, at a cost just one-third of a traditional station of the same scale, and can be operational after only 2 to 3 days of installation and commissioning.
Technical Principle
The mechanism of the explosion-proof fueling station is based on the theory of heat conduction and the fundamental conditions for combustion and explosion. By utilizing the honeycomb structure of the explosion-proof materials in the container of the fueling station, it prevents the rapid spread of flames and the instantaneous release of energy. Through the thermal conduction effect of the materials, it disrupts the explosive conditions of the combustion medium, thereby suppressing explosions and ensuring the safe storage of flammable and explosive gases and liquids.
Chemical Principles
Free radical "wall adsorption" effect: Mixed explosions involve a free radical chain reaction, where the reaction rate is limited by the amount of free radicals per unit volume. Free radicals can be adsorbed by "impurities" and "wall materials" on the surface of the container, reducing the number of free radicals per unit volume. The larger the surface area, the more opportunities for adsorption, resulting in fewer free radicals per unit volume. This reduction in the number of free radicals involved in the combustion reaction slows down the combustion explosion reaction speed, eventually halting the reaction.
Cooling Effect: The heat produced by combustion can further increase reaction temperature and accelerate reaction speed, potentially leading to deflagration or explosion. However, the excellent heat conduction of the anti-explosion modular fuel station materials dissipates heat and reduces temperature, thereby suppressing the rise in temperature and the acceleration of reaction speed, preventing the formation of deflagration or explosion.
Advantages of Skid-Mounted Fueling Units:
1. Broad application range and safety with environmental protection. The skid-mounted fuel tank for gas stations does not have the hidden risks of groundwater contamination from buried tanks, effectively preventing pollution of groundwater, and is suitable for special environments such as water source protection areas.
2. Small land footprint, occupying only 30 square meters, it can be directly installed on open spaces or parking spots adjacent to lanes in parking lots, docks, factories, mines, and logistics centers for daily traffic. The refueling runway can be utilized by simply extending from the existing lane for the closest refueling access.
3. Safety and explosion-proof, the jacking fueling unit employs explosion-proof isolation technology. This technology involves filling a certain density of explosion-proof isolation materials (the isolation explosion-proof mesh is a mesh-like structure material composed of special aluminum alloy) into storage tanks containing flammable and explosive liquefied fuels. In case of accidental incidents like open flames, static sparks, gunshots, lightning strikes, etc., explosions are prevented, thus avoiding personal and property injuries. Additionally, the jacking fueling unit is equipped with an automatic alarm and control system, capable of promptly detecting abnormal conditions and initiating emergency response measures.
4. Short construction period; the skid-mounted gas station is a new type of standardized, modular, and factory-produced comprehensive fueling equipment. It can be quickly installed, adjusted, and put into use on-site, typically becoming operational within a week from installation and electricity connection.
