Feature Overview

Purpose: Demonstrate the phenomenon of step voltage and experience the hazards of being electrocuted by step voltage, and learn the measures to avoid being electrocuted by step voltage.


Training Program

1. Experience the process of stepping into a step voltage zone while walking normally.

2. Experience the step-over voltage area by stepping with only one foot on the ground.

3. Step into the step voltage experience area with your feet together.


Process Design

1. Power on the equipment, and the experimenter walks from the starting end of the experience platform to the other end, gradually approaching the wire drop point.

2. Participants walk by stepping on adjacent curved conductive plates, simulating an electric potential distribution centered at the point where the wire lands. The closer to the wire landing point, the higher the frequency level of the pulsed voltage applied to the curved conductive plates by the high-frequency voltage generator, indicating a higher electric potential, and the participant will experience a tingling sensation.

3. Upon detection of the participant's feet being together or walking on one foot by the sensor, the control unit disconnects the high-voltage generator from the conductive plate, ensuring the participant will not feel an electric shock.

4. Through firsthand experiences such as walking with both feet, merging them, or walking on one foot, perceive the sensation of electric shock and visually observe the step-over voltage phenomenon. This enables the participant to deeply understand the principle of step-over voltage generation, comprehend the factors affecting its magnitude, and ultimately master the correct escape method.
