Feature Overview

This equipment is a static discharge and dust explosion safety sensory device. It allows for an understanding of basic static electricity knowledge and discharge phenomena, as well as experiencing the power and harm caused by dust explosions in confined spaces due to static electricity. Specifications include: a static generator (current below 10mA, voltage must be below 36V), adjustable current and voltage, discharge rod, glass container (with cover), and flame-retardant cover.

 Primary Function: Allows students to observe the phenomenon of static electricity ignition that is not normally visible in everyday life, and to understand the dangers of static electricity. Experience the danger of static dust explosions by stirring wheat flour and air to simulate a dusty environment, and observe the power of static sparks to trigger explosions.

Process Design

1. Place the experience equipment in the reserved position with an AC220V power outlet and plug in the power supply.

2. When ready to experience, turn on the rotary switch on the left side of the device. The power indicator light will illuminate, and the device will be powered on. Wait for the device to complete initialization.

3. Press the static generator's start button, pick up the handheld electrode and bring it close to the large electrode, gently touch to create a spark through friction, experience the danger of static discharge. When the static experience is over, press the static generator's stop button.

4. Pour an appropriate amount of wheat flour into the glass container, seal it with a piece of paper, close the safety door, then press the dust explosion activation button. While static electricity is generated, air blows the flour, causing it to float inside the glass tube. You will soon observe the dust exploding. Observe the process of static dust explosion to understand its dangers and learn about relevant safety knowledge. Upon completion of the dust explosion experience, press the dust explosion stop button.

5. After completing the experience, shut off the power, and each person gets to experience once.
