Product Overview

The screw conveyor of the twin-screw mixer is equipped with double-layer helical blades. The internal helix transports materials outward, while the external helix gathers materials inward. Under the convective movement of the double-layer helical belt, a low-power, high-efficiency mixing environment is formed. The inner and outer diameter helices mounted on the stirrer shaft drive the materials inside the drum, causing the stirrer to move materials extensively within the drum. As the mixing device operates, the inner helix drives the materials near the axis to rotate around the axis, pushing axially from the inside to the sides, while the outer helix drives the materials near the drum wall to rotate around the axis, pushing axially from the sides to the inside. This mixing process achieves uniform blending in a relatively short time.


Operating Principle

The twin-screw mixer is fundamentally composed of a mixing chamber, agitator, and driving unit. The agitator shaft, installed within the U-shaped tube chamber, features double helical blades winding in opposite directions. Under power, the outer spiral blades, rotating in synchronization with the shaft, push materials from the center towards both ends, creating a convectional mixing effect. The horizontal cylinder of the mixer has a discharge port in the center of its bottom, with the spiral structure of the outer helix working in conjunction with the main shaft's rotation to force material from the inner cylinder wall to the central discharge port, ensuring no dead spots during the discharge process.
