I. Product Overview


DMZ973X, DMZ973F, DMZ973H, DMZ973Y, and DMZ973W electric submersible gate valves are a type of compact, short-structured, reliable-sealed, and long-lasting gate valves. They are primarily composed of the valve body, gate plate, valve cover, valve stem, and transmission mechanism. Their distinctive feature is the flat plate structure of the valve body, which is connected to the pipeline by a clamping method; the gate plate is a single gate design, sealing on one side with the valve body seat and forming a wedge-like contact on the opposite side, with the sealing surface perpendicular to the medium flow. This wedge-like contact structure includes wedge-shaped clamping blocks on the back of the sealing surface, with adjusting set screws at the corresponding positions on the other side of the valve body. This valve boasts several advantages, such as a short body structure and light weight, the seat sealing surface can prevent erosion by the medium, even pressure and tight fit of the sealing surface, and it can scrape off impurities like dust and tar from the seat sealing surface during closure, making it easy to drain. It is particularly suitable for use in gas pipelines containing dust or tar.


Electromagnetic knife gate valve equipped with a Z-type multi-revolution electric actuator, which controls the valve's opening and closing remotely by driving the valve plate to move vertically. Operators can remotely control the valve from the control room, manually operate it on-site, and also work in conjunction with computers for automatic control. Additionally, when using an intelligent regulating electric actuator to drive the valve, it can adjust the flow rate of the pipeline medium. The control and feedback signals use a 4-20mA DC analog signal.


Valve bodies are available in cast steel, stainless steel, and more, with a bore size range of DN50 to DN1400. They are suitable for temperatures from -30℃ to +600℃ and have a nominal pressure of 0.6 to 1.6 MPa. Common valve body materials include WCB cast steel and 304/304L/316/316L stainless steel. II. Product Features


  1. Wedge gate valves are available in two types, blind stem and exposed stem, depending on the size (blind stem for DN50-1400mm, exposed stem for DN50-1400mm). The full circular design of the straight-through passage effectively prevents material accumulation and blockage. The bottom of the blade is machined into a cutting edge shape, providing a cutting function for soft materials like fibers, pulp, and wood pulp, with excellent opening and closing performance. A special scraper is installed at the top of the blade to prevent abrasive materials such as dust and sand from entering the stuffing box, significantly extending the blade's service life. The valve plate is made of stainless steel, which, after precision grinding and polishing, achieves excellent sealing. The valve design is compact, occupies minimal space, is lightweight, and offers affordable pricing. It's easy to install, features comprehensive wear and blockage prevention measures, is convenient to maintain, and has a long service life. The drive unit can be selected according to actual needs.

  2. The valve bodies and stuffing boxes are precision cast, with the valve bodies being integrally cast in flanged style. The material of the valve body can be selected according to customer requirements, including 304, 316, 316L, WCB, 2Cr13, etc. The sealing rings are made of PTFE material, featuring corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and non-adhesion of slag.

  3. The valve plate features 5 support points, ensuring excellent self-alignment performance. When the valve is in the closed position and subjected to back pressure, the valve plate will not shift.

  4. The knife gate valve is available in various drive options, including handwheel, manual chain, spur gear drive, bevel gear drive, pneumatic, or electric.

  5. The knife gate valve can be internally designed with V-shaped, triangular, or pentagonal passages. Among them, the V-shaped gate plate is used for regulating and controlling.

  6. The connection types of knife gate valves include clamping and flanged lug, with sealing options such as metal-to-metal hard seal and metal-to-polyurethane seal.

  7. Wide range of applicable media, including gold ore powder, tailings, pulp, wood pulp, fibers, dust, chemical treatment wastewater, sedimentation ponds, ore sands, slag, coal sludge, asphalt, materials at silo outlets, fruits, grains, cement slurry, slaughterhouse wastewater, etc.

  8. Operating Temperature Range: Soft Seal (PTFE) -40℃ to 180℃; Carbon Steel -30℃ to 425℃; Stainless Steel -40℃ to 600℃; Chrome Molybdenum Vanadium Steel not exceeding 550℃. Operating Pressure

The design adheres to the standards of JB/T8691-1998, MSS SP-81.
Flanges are manufactured according to GB/T 9113.1 - 2000 standard.
The structural length is in accordance with the GB/T 1 - 5188.2 - 94 standard.
Testing and acceptance are conducted according to GB/T13927 standard.
