Storage and Handling of Inorganic Pre-painted Boards

Uncoated board should retain its original packaging as much as possible before installation and should be stored indoors. If stored outdoors, the storage area should be level, free of standing water, and should not be accessed by cranes or heavy loads overhead. The boards should be elevated by wooden blocks 20cm off the ground, and soft materials should be placed between the boards. Boards of the same type should be stacked together, with each pile of boards marked with an easily identifiable type label and covered with a waterproof tarp. The storage area should be enclosed with temporary fencing to prevent unnecessary damage to the boards from pedestrian traffic.
