The YW4240CNC CNC gear shaving machine is designed for the precision finishing of straight, helical, and shaft gears, suitable for mass production in industries such as automotive, tractor, and construction machinery.

The entire cycle of gear cutting on machine tools is controlled by a computer and displayed on a CRT. In the event of a fault, the machine tool can self-diagnose and display the issue on the screen, facilitating quick and accurate troubleshooting by the operator. A three-color light can be installed at a prominent location on the machine tool to indicate its working status. The CNC system uses a FANUC (LCD) system and has a transmission interface with a laptop (RS232C). Electromagnetic locks can be included in the machine tool's cycle processing to prevent the protective door from opening and ensure that no key can stop the cycle (except for the emergency stop button) to guarantee safe machining of the workpiece. Any cutting parameters must be changed by a professional. The control station of the machine tool consists of a dual rotation (the rotation of the control box itself and the large cantilever rotation), making operation convenient.

The machine tool is a 5-axis CNC, including: tool spindle rotation (W-axis), radial feed of the tool (Z-axis), tangential feed of the tool (Y-axis), feed of the worktable axis (X-axis), and the rotation of the tool holder (A-axis).
