The YK3603 CNC horizontal gear hobbing machine features an integration of mechanical and electrical design, equipped with a FANUC 0i MF CNC system. It controls a four-axis linkage with eight axes (four linear axes: X, Y, Z, Z1, and three rotary axes: C, C1, B, A; where B, C, X, Z are the linkage axes, and C, C1 are the synchronous control axes).

The tool spindle Z features a high speed of 15,000 r/min, while the workpiece spindle Z has a high speed of 1,500 r/min; the X and Z axes offer a rapid traverse speed of 6 m/min.

The machine can achieve intermittent automatic tool change for turning tools, with a maximum tool change distance of 30mm and a maximum travel of 90mm. It supports deburring with two knives and can perform reverse deburring across parts.
