Back-adhesive vinyl printing is a type of large-format printing, featuring a self-adhesive backing that can be peeled off and directly applied to walls.
All large format printing should be done in CMKY mode; RGB is prohibited. Modern printers are typically four-color, but some also offer six-color options, including lighter versions of C and M, which result in smoother and more realistic color transitions. When creating artwork, adhere to printing standards, as the printing company will adjust the image colors to match the proofs closely.
No single black value is allowed in both digital printing and photographic images; it must be composed of C, M, and Y colors to create a mixed black. For instance, if it's a dark black, it can be set as: C=50, M=50, Y=50, K=100. Especially when using it in Photoshop, pay attention to change the black parts to four-color black. Otherwise, horizontal lines may appear on the black parts, affecting the overall effect.
