The production technology for heavy-duty grill mesh has special requirements. Generally, carbon structural steel or stainless steel is required, with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The chemical composition and mechanical properties should comply with the specifications of GB70088's Q235A or GB/T 22092's 0Cr18Ni9. Each carrying flat steel and flange flat steel are double angle-welded with welds not less than 3MM; the connection between each carrying flat steel and the twisted rod is fully welded; after the semi-finished black parts are made, they must be free of spatter, slag, burrs, and sharp edges after sanding the corners, and the entire plate should be level.

Heavy-duty grating mesh also requires strict galvanizing standards. When using load-bearing flats with a thickness of not less than 5MM, the average galvanized zinc layer weight after galvanizing must not be less than 610g/㎡; when using load-bearing flats with a thickness less than 5mm, the average galvanized zinc layer weight after galvanizing must not be less than 460g/㎡. The quality and requirements after galvanizing should comply with the new standard of "Hot-Dip Galvanized" GB/T13912-2008.
