Advantages
(1) Excellent water quality with pH levels nearly neutral upon discharge.
(2) The effluent water quality remains stable, and short-term changes in operating conditions (such as influent water quality or composition, flow rate, etc.) have little impact on the mixed bed effluent water quality.
(3) Intermittent operation has minimal impact on effluent water quality, and the time required to recover to the pre-shutdown water quality is relatively short.
The mixed bed equipment that's a bit more user-friendly is the one with acrylic columns, as it's easier to clearly see the layers during separation.
In operation, the regeneration effect is excellent. The A3 steel I used before had a viewing hole, and it was really a hassle to operate; you couldn't even see the layers.
