Dispersible Coating Process: The processing method of dispersible coating involves uniformly distributing the coating material in a solvent to form a dispersion liquid (solid substance mixed with liquid), a wet processing technique. This mixture is then atomized with high-pressure air and sprayed onto the surface of the workpiece.

2. Processing Steps

The processing steps for the dispersion coating are as follows: preparation of the workpiece, (wet) dispersion coating spraying, drying, and sintering.

3. Part Preparation

To ensure sufficient surface adhesion for the workpiece, it is necessary to first remove all grease from the surface to be coated. We dissolve the grease using organic solvents and heat it to approximately 400 degrees to completely evaporate it. Next, we clean the workpiece mechanically with sandblasting to roughen the surface. The bonding ability between the coating and the workpiece surface can be improved by applying an adhesive aid (undercoat).

(Wet Process) Dispersible Coating Spray

Coating materials must be evenly and consistently applied. The coating thickness depends on the chosen coating system; thickness variations can range from a few micrometers to 200 micrometers (0.2 mm).

4. Dry

The wet coating is heated in an oven, maintaining temperatures below 100 degrees until most of the solvents have evaporated.

Sintering

The sintering process involves heating the workpiece to a high temperature until an irreversible reaction occurs: the coating material melts and forms a network structure with the adhesive aids.

6. Powder Coating

Overview

The method of powder coating processing is a dry process, where the coating material used is in the form of fine solid particles. This coating method avoids the use of solvents and the subsequent phenomenon of spreading during coating adhesion.

7. Processing

Applying an appropriate method to affix micro-fine coating particles to the workpiece. Subsequently, the coated micro-particles are melted in an oven.
