Blast furnace gas slag (dust) is a byproduct obtained from the blast furnace smelting process, where raw material dust is carried out with blast furnace gas and smoke particles generated from intense reactions in the high-temperature zone are filtered out. It is one of the solid waste products generated by steel enterprises. With a large steel production capacity in our country, the iron output has been about 800 million tons in recent years. Calculating at approximately 20 kg of blast furnace gas slag (mud) per ton of iron, the annual production will reach 16 million tons. Improper handling not only leads to a huge waste of resources but also, with a zinc content of 10-25%, the equivalent metal zinc would amount to 16-40 million tons, roughly equivalent to the mining of 26-64 million tons of zinc ore. Additionally, it poses a significant impact on the ecological environment, besides occupying a large amount of land resources, it also poses hazards to the air, water, and soil, becoming an important issue that every steel enterprise must address.
This adhesive features the following characteristics:
1. This product is easy to store and transport, non-flammable, and offers a low price point with clear benefits.
2. This product is easy to use, requiring no additional equipment. Simply add it directly to the mixture.
3. Add this product to the mixture first, ensuring thorough mixing, and then add to the appropriate amount of water.
4. Most people know that demolding is a big challenge in cold pressing. We recommend using elliptical orifice ball molds, which make demolding easier and ensure smooth production.
5. Dosage: Typically 1%-4% of the blended material, adjustable according to particle size and performance of the blend. The dosage is significantly lower than conventional cold-press pellet binder, approximately half of the conventional cold-press pellet binder.
6. Benefits: Due to the low addition amount, it ensures minimal impurities introduced into the pellets, effectively preventing a decrease in pellet quality. The improved pellet grade leads to increased benefits, which aligns with our expectations.
7. This series is not only suitable for cold-press molding, but also for the spheroid drying and storage process on ball disks.
