详情描述

Magnetic伸缩液level sensors are used for measuring liquid levels in various storage tanks. These level gauges feature high precision, strong environmental adaptability, and easy installation. As a result, they are widely applied in the liquid level measurement fields of oil, chemical industries, and are gradually replacing other traditional sensors.

In liquid storage tanks at PetroChina, Sinopec, and various industrial sites, the measurement of the liquid inside the tanks is typically done manually by climbing the tank and using a steel tape measure with a weight or a ruler with markings to take readings. The readings are then recorded manually, converted using tables, and the oil volume data is obtained. This method is labor-intensive, poses safety risks, and cannot guarantee accuracy. Some areas use capacitive or diffused silicon pressure level gauges, but due to significant zero drift and large measurement deviations, as well as poor long-term stability, these sensors are not favored by users. There are also places that use isobaric diaphragm level gauges or mechanical float level gauges. However, due to the diaphragm level gauges being highly sensitive to temperature and issues with air leakage, and the mechanical float level gauges frequently experiencing steel tape jamming, neither has gained widespread adoption.

Utilizing a magnetostrictive level gauge for tank level measurement, its advantages are evident in:

1. High Reliability: The magnetostrictive level gauge uses the waveguide principle, featuring no mechanical moving parts, thus eliminating friction and wear. The entire transmitter is enclosed in a stainless steel tube, non-contacting with the medium being measured, ensuring reliable sensor operation and a long lifespan.

2. High Precision: The magnetostrictive level gauge operates using waveguide pulses, determining the measured displacement by timing the start and stop pulses during operation. This results in high measurement accuracy and a resolution better than 0.01% FS, which is difficult to achieve with other sensors.

3. High Safety: The magnetostrictive level gauge has excellent explosion-proof performance, intrinsic safety, and safe operation, particularly suitable for measuring chemicals and flammable liquids.

Measurement can be conducted without opening the can lid, eliminating the inaccuracy and safety concerns associated with manual measurement.

4. Magnetic伸缩液位计 easy to install and maintain: The magnetic伸缩液位仪 is typically installed through existing pipe openings on the tank roof, particularly suitable for underground and operational storage tanks, without affecting normal production during installation.

5. Facilitates System Automation: The secondary instrument of the magnetostrictive level gauge employs standard output signals, making it easy for microcomputers to process the signals, and simplifying networked operations. This enhances the degree of automation within the entire measurement system.
