KTR Self-Resetting Position Sensor

The KTR linear displacement sensor directly measures the position or contour of an object using conductive plastic and a sliding brush, without any form of solid mechanical coupling. The sensor features a side-by-side dual control rod structure for higher overall strength. What's particularly important is that when subjected to lateral stress (as in cam applications), the KTR sensor's flexible end bearings provide effective cushioning. The measuring rod automatically resets with a return spring, suitable for various comparative measurements. The KTR's spherical stainless steel probe and roller bearing design meets various displacement measurement needs, including those perpendicular to the axial direction. This series of sensors is the ideal choice for detecting flatness and thickness of various sheet materials. The top thrust rod requires no installation or centering, with a thrust angle of 90±3°, allowing a maximum thrusting speed of 3m/s.

The rod's rear end is fitted with a special sleeve, which can be conveniently used to facilitate automatic retraction with cylinders or electromagnets.
