Bucket Elevator The hopper scoops up material from the storage below, lifts it to the top with a conveyor belt or chain, flips it over after passing the top wheel, and then pours the material into the receiving trough. Belt-driven hopper elevators typically use rubber belts, mounted on the lower or upper drive rollers and the lower or upper redirection rollers. Chain-driven hopper elevators usually have two parallel drive chains, with a pair of drive sprockets above or below and a pair of redirection sprockets below or above. Hopper elevators are generally enclosed in a housing to prevent dust from flying around inside. Bucket Elevator: Ideal for lifting materials from low to high levels. Once the materials are fed into the hopper via a vibration platform, the machine operates automatically and continuously to transport the materials upwards.
