I. Course Introduction

Starting from the fundamental theories of the "IATF 16949 system standard," this course provides an in-depth yet accessible introduction to the basics of the "Five Handbooks (APQP/CP, FMEA-DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, MSA, and SPC-Ppk/Cpk)." It guides learners from understanding the "design and development" of new products, progressively exploring the impact of the "Five Handbooks" on product design and development, identification of critical and important characteristics, process design and development, process flow, and control plans, as well as the consistency and compliance with product drawings, critical and important characteristics, process flow diagrams, and control plans.

II. Course Objectives

1. Proficient in the planning, strategy, procedures, and actual operation of the "Five Handbooks," capable of organizing the company to independently conduct "Five Handbooks" work activities.

2. Fully grounded in the principles of the "Five Manuals," effectively implement and execute the work activities of the "Five Manuals" based on the actual production and business conditions of the enterprise. Truly comprehend the core and key points of the "Five Manuals" to achieve ease of application and the ability to generalize from one to many.

3. Master the application skills of the "Five Handbooks," enhance the professional expertise of the "APQP New Product Project Team," broaden their knowledge scope, and make them aware/familiar with the work scope of the "APQP New Product Project Team" activities beyond their primary roles. Capture information on significant improvement opportunities during the normal operation, implementation, and execution of the "APQP New Product Project Team" activities.

4. By analyzing the results of the implementation and execution of the "APQP New Product Project Team" activities, we can identify the true reasons for the failure to fully maintain the outcomes of these activities, and develop, implement, and execute effective corrective/preventive actions and improvement plans.
