Standard and Maintenance for Screw Jack Platform Components

The screw jack is an integrated unit, primarily composed of several components. During operation, each part is closely interconnected and works together; the failure of any component can potentially lead to the malfunctioning of the equipment. The following maintenance methods for screw jack parts are analyzed as follows.

Are the torsion springs on the screw jack and cable hose guide devices functioning properly? Check the relative position between the cable support arm and the cable hose to ensure it is appropriate; inspect if the cable is twisted or damaged; verify if the fixing screws of the screw jack gear drive assembly are loose, especially the locking bolts for the transmission gear set.

Are the screw jacks performing well and is the liquid level in the reducer decreasing? Measures for wire breakage in screw jacks include upgrading the transmission chain to a double-chain design, ensuring safety in the event of a single wire breakage; additionally, a fitness maintenance zinc-coated steel wire rope is in place. In the event of a sudden breakdown causing the transmission chain of the screw jack to rupture, the zinc-coated steel wire rope will once again bear the load and internal stress, thereby providing dual insurance functionality.

The screw jack overvoltage protection measures include a hydraulic pump equipped with a valve and a flow control valve. When the overflow working pressure is adjusted to the high load working pressure, if the load is applied, the flow control valve will open, making the screw jack difficult to rise. Only after removing a portion of the load will the flow control valve close, allowing the screw jack to ascend.

The screw jack can effectively prevent damage to the main structure and critical components due to overloading. In case the goods get stuck in the elevator shaft during the lifting process due to operational errors, the speed control valve will automatically open, preventing damage to the screw jack and critical components caused by such errors, and ensuring the safety and integrity of the screw jack.
