If the board has many fine cracks, it is reasonable to use an epoxy resin with a longer curing time. If the cracks to be penetrated on the board are relatively large, a faster curing, low-viscosity epoxy resin can be chosen. Therefore, the choice of curing time should be appropriate and reasonable, and the curing time is achieved by adjusting the composition of the epoxy resin. The curing temperature for surface penetration reinforcement epoxy resin is 25°C, with a curing temperature of 10-15°C, and a curing time of 24 hours at room temperature. In stone production lines equipped with automatic repair and drying equipment, flat horizontal drying ovens or vertical upright drying ovens are used for the thermal curing treatment of the board after surface penetration reinforcement to accelerate the curing of the epoxy resin. For simple stone production lines with less yield requirements, natural curing at room temperature can be adopted, which requires at least 24 hours to obtain the cured reinforced board.

Due to the wide variety of stone types and varying shades, with surface penetration reinforcement treatments applied to the板材 surface, it is crucial to select an epoxy resin for the surface penetration treatment that matches the板材 color or can be reasonably coordinated, leaving no residue after reinforcement. There is a wide range of colors available, making it generally possible to find a suitable one. If the finished板材 are to be used under harsh conditions with significant temperature variations, such as in tropical or polar regions, or outdoors, the epoxy resin chosen for reinforcing these板材 should also consider the service temperature of the cured epoxy. Such outdoor-grade epoxy resins have a service temperature range of -25~+60℃ after curing.
