Concept Introduction
Polypropylene, a thermoplastic resin obtained by polymerizing propylene, is categorized into three types based on the arrangement of methyl groups: isotactic polypropylene, atactic polypropylene, and syndiotactic polypropylene. It is odorless, tasteless, and has a low density, with superior strength, rigidity, hardness, and heat resistance compared to low-pressure polyethylene, allowing for use around 100°C. It exhibits good dielectric properties and high-frequency insulating properties, unaffected by humidity, but becomes brittle at low temperatures, is not wear-resistant, and tends to age easily. Suitable for manufacturing general mechanical parts, corrosion-resistant parts, and insulating parts.PPPowder ProcessingCommon acids, bases, and other organic solvents have little effect on it, and it is suitable for food utensils.
