Structure and Composition of Gearbox Reduction Motors

Gearbox reducers are a common type of speed reducer, which decreases the speed of a high-speed rotating motor to the desired low speed through the transmission of gears. The structure of a gearbox reducer mainly consists of the motor, reducer, and output shaft.

Electric Motor

The output shaft is the final component of the gear reduction motor structure, serving as the device that converts the low-speed rotation from the reducer into mechanical energy. Typically composed of shaft material, bearings, and shaft seals, the output shaft ensures high load-bearing capacity and long service life. The design of the output shaft also varies depending on the specific application scenario, taking shapes such as round, hexagonal, or square.

Gear reduction motors are structurally simple and reliable, featuring high efficiency, precision, load-bearing capacity, and long lifespan, and are widely used in various industrial and household applications. When selecting a gear reduction motor, one should determine its appropriate parameters such as power, speed, output torque, and shape of the output shaft based on actual needs.
