To minimize heat loss to the soil, an insulating composite layer is added to the exterior of the pipes. The commonly used insulation material is rigid polyurethane foam, suitable for temperatures ranging from -185°C to 120°C. This material is soft in texture, and to enhance its strength, a layer of high-density polyethylene is applied to the exterior of the insulating layer, forming a composite structure to prevent groundwater from渗入the insulation. The surface of the steel pipes is treated with grit blasting to remove rust and the outer sheath is subjected to corona treatment using high-pressure polyurethane foam equipment to improve the bonding performance of the insulation. Furthermore, with the insulation material being rigid polyurethane foam with a density of 60kg/m3 to 80kg/m3, it effectively fills the gap between the steel pipe and the sleeve, and possesses a certain degree of bonding strength, creating a robust whole of the steel pipe, outer sleeve, and insulation layer. Polyurethane foam exhibits excellent mechanical and thermal insulation properties, and under normal circumstances, it can withstand temperatures up to 120°C.
