Application Methods and Precautions for Oxygen Ion Detector

Negative ions in the air have the functions of dust reduction, sterilization, and air purification, showing significant effects on respiratory diseases; they offer excellent health benefits to our bodies by regulating physiological functions, preventing colds and respiratory diseases, improving cardiovascular function, and enhancing our body's immune resistance. They also have favorable physiological effects on immune function, hematopoiesis, digestion, and metabolic processes.

Since negative ions in our living environment offer so many benefits, how should we use a negative oxygen ion tester to detect them in the air? Let's introduce it to you next.

Oxygen-negative Ion Detector Application Method:

First, open the back cover of the instrument and install the batteries.

2. Once installed, properly connect the instrument's grounding wire to avoid static interference with the detection.

3. Subsequently, select and determine whether POLARITY is + or -, to confirm the measurement as positive.

4. Align the instrument's air intake port with the product being tested or hold the instrument vertically to measure the content of negative ions in the air.

5. Turn the knob to the OFF position, set the button switch to STANDBY, then adjust the knob to 19.99.

Heat the engine for 1 minute, then press the button to RE-ZERO and hold for 3-5 seconds.

7. A reading between -0.01 and 0.01 indicates stability; if not, a re-zeroing is required.

After zeroing is completed, place the switch to MEASURE to begin the detection.

9. The knob can track to different range categories based on the size of the displayed values.

If a value of 1 is displayed during the testing process, it should be controlled to the first range level.

11. After demonstrating stability, multiply the reading value by 1000 to obtain the concentration of positive or negative ions in the test area (ions/cm³).
