Tinuvin 292 (765) serves as an受阻胺光稳定izer, an efficient liquid stabilizer suitable for various polymers and applications, including polyurethane, sealants, adhesives, elastomers, unsaturated polyesters, vinyl polymers (PVB, PVC) homopolymers and copolymers, polyolefins, liquid color concentrates, and other organic matrices. Particularly well-suited for polyurethane due to its excellent solubility in solvents.

Application Guidelines:

Based on the varying requirements of the matrix and application effectiveness, the addition range of Tinuvin 292(765) is between 0.1% and 1.0%. Tinuvin 292(765) exhibits synergistic effects when used in conjunction with UV absorbers. This synergy is present in many matrix resins. To achieve optimal results, the polymer must undergo adequate basic stabilization (such as the addition of antioxidants and processing stabilizers) to prevent thermal degradation. Sulfur-based stabilizers (such as thioethers) can sometimes have a negative effect on the performance of Tinuvin 292. The extent of this effect should be evaluated through tests tailored to specific customers.
