Property: Rubber adhesive RE is a resorcinol condensate polymer, belonging to the meta-alpha adhesive system as a methylene acceptor adhesive. When used in conjunction with a methylene donor, it serves to bond rubber to the skeletal material.

Application:
Rubber adhesive RE generates adhesive properties through reactions with methylene donors, such as when combined with rubber adhesive A, adhesive RA, rubber adhesive RA-65, etc., forming thermosetting resins. The reaction occurs rapidly at curing temperatures; if it happens before curing, the adhesive properties of the compound system will be lost. To evenly disperse rubber adhesive RE in the system, it is typically prepared as a compounded rubber, filler, and RE mixture at higher temperatures, then added along with the adhesive or methylene donor along with accelerators and sulfur during the final refining stage of the rubber. The recommended ratio is 2-5 parts of rubber adhesive RE with 2.5 parts of rubber adhesive A or another methylene donor. Note that without a methylene donor, adhesive RE will lack adhesive properties.

Before transportation and storage, check that the product packaging is undamaged. During transportation and storage, classify and stack in a dry, clean, cool storage room, strictly prevent the product from getting damp, overheated, or deteriorating.
