Installation Steps and Precautions for Nylon Conduit Housings

Nylon drag chains, with their wear-resistant, anti-aging (service life of 5-8 years), and low-noise (<60dB) features, are widely used in machine tools and automation equipment. Before installation, check the integrity of the drag chain (chain segment cracks ≤ 0.1mm), confirm the installation location (reserve a bending radius ≥ 8 times the chain height), and clean the installation surface.

Installation requires four steps:

1) Fixed support plate (leveling error ≤ 0.5mm/m)

2) Link joints (fitting clearance of 0.05-0.1mm)

3) End Mounting (Bolt Torque: 20-25 N·m)

4) Pipeline Layout (fill rate ≤ 80%).

Key considerations include: avoiding over-limit bending (bending radius ≥ calibrated value), maintaining the correct installation direction (the open side facing the pipeline movement direction), setting reasonable tension (deformation ≤ 3%), and conducting an unloaded test after installation (50 reciprocations without jamming).
