Dagang Oilfield Green Electricity Company Park (Factory Area)
Achieve Carbon Neutral Operations for Smart Park
Officially Certified as a "Zero Carbon Smart Industrial Park"
Becomes the First "Zero-Carbon Smart Park" in China for China Petroleum

Zero-carbon Smart Industrial Park refers to the comprehensive offsetting of the total carbon dioxide emissions directly or indirectly generated by the park through various carbon reduction and carbon neutralization measures, achieving zero carbon emissions for the carbon element. In recent years, Dagu Oilfield has focused on the national "dual carbon" goal, implementing the overall deployment of the group company's "clean substitution, strategic substitution, and green transformation" in three steps. Taking the green electricity company's industrial park as a pilot, it has integrated and applied technologies such as photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, load balancing, geothermal energy, energy complementarity, and comprehensive utilization to develop a smart "zero-carbon" microgrid demonstration area, achieving the goals of zero carbon, microgrid, and source-grid-load-storage.

To achieve green energy use in the intelligent park, GreenPower Corporation has progressively launched renewable energy utilization projects and planned the construction of green power projects since 2021. To date, the park has built ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, rooftop-mounted photovoltaic systems, flexible rooftop photovoltaic systems, and carport photovoltaic systems, with an installed capacity of 3.11 megawatts in operation. The annual power generation is expected to reach 3.9 million kilowatt-hours. The park has become a technical cradle for large-scale photovoltaic construction projects, forming a comprehensive demonstration management and technical system.

On the foundation of the existing green electricity project, Green Power Co. has constructed a "full-electric" new energy-saving and environmentally friendly cafeteria and a 21,000-square-meter ground-source heat pump heating system. Simultaneously, a "zero-carbon smart energy management system" featuring three-dimensional, visual, and real-time data feedback has been planned and constructed, which manages various energy systems in the park and can flexibly switch between economic or zero-carbon operation modes according to actual needs. During the construction process, emission reduction and oxygenation were simultaneously advanced. Currently, the green electricity generated throughout the year can offset more than 2,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions, with an additional 129,000 square meters of green space added, creating an ecological space with greenery and blue photovoltaic panels.
The completion of the "Zero Carbon Smart Park" by Green Power Company serves as a microcosm of Dapu Oilfield's green and low-carbon development, providing a demonstrable and replicable model for peak carbon dioxide emissions and carbon neutrality efforts. Next, Green Power will further optimize the achievements and applications of the "Zero Carbon Smart Park" and focus on constructing a 230-megawatt centralized photovoltaic power generation project, establishing a tiered development pattern, and accelerating the construction of a new energy system, continuously adding inexhaustible momentum to the country's green and low-carbon development.
