Some common uses of desulfurized quicklime

Quick Lime, also known as calcium hydroxide, is its scientific name, and it is a white, powdery solid. Its applications are quite diverse. Today, I'd like to share with you the uses of hydrated lime for desulfurization.
1. It can serve as a raw material for the production of calcium carbonate.
Lime is alkaline and can be used to reduce soil acidity, thereby improving soil structure. The boron solution in pesticides is prepared by mixing a certain proportion of lime milk (water-soluble calcium hydroxide) with copper solution. In winter, it can also prevent pests on trees by applying a layer of lime mortar at the root.
  3. Suitable for rubber and petrochemical additives, such as lubricants in the oil industry, which prevent coking, sludge deposition, neutralization, and corrosion.
