　　Gate Valve Overview

The VTON imported flanged check valve by USA Weidun features low fluid resistance, minimal impact erosion on the sealing surface, maintains the medium's flow direction without causing turbulence, and has a small pressure drop. It is suitable for a wide range of pressure and temperature, and is a common cutting valve, widely used in oil and gas, petrochemical, and thermal power plants for connecting or cutting off media in pipelines carrying oil and steam. (Not for use as a throttle valve.)

The gate plate of a gate valve moves linearly along with the valve rod, known as a rising stem gate valve (also known as a top stem gate valve). Typically, there is a trapezoidal thread on the rising stem, which converts rotational motion into linear motion through the nut at the top of the valve and the guide slots on the valve body, thereby transforming the operating torque into operating thrust. In some valves, the nut of the valve rod is set on the gate plate. When the handwheel is turned, it drives the valve rod to rotate, lifting the gate plate, which type of valve is called a rotating stem gate valve or a bottom stem gate valve.
