Rising and falling pit

The orchestra pit is primarily used for musical theater performances accompanied by a band or choir, located between the stage mouth and the audience hall. The pit lift utilizes various height adjustments to form different usage configurations. The working standard height of the pit lift is level with the stage surface, serving as an extension in front of the stage; stopping at the audience hall floor increases the seating area in front of the audience. When lowered to the performance level, it functions as the orchestra pit; when lowered to the seating storage level, it is used for transporting and storing the seating trolleys.

The Lift Platform 1 and Lift Platform 2 can be paired to create various usage modes, such as Small Stage Rim, Small Chorus Pit, Large Stage Rim, and Large Chorus Pit, etc.

The lift platform is composed of a steel frame structure, wooden flooring, decorative panels around it, driving devices, transmission mechanisms, shear protection devices around the periphery (including the lift platform board and surrounding fixed platform board), signal devices for the pit entrance door, and the control system. The anti-shear edge safety switches do not use mechanical lever types but opt for contact types with higher safety reliability. The lift platform is equipped with guide rails to ensure it does not tilt during lifting or lowering.

The lifting platform is equipped with a common standby reset drive system. In the event of a failure in the main drive equipment, it allows the platform to operate at a low speed and return to a safe position.

The lift platform of the pit is not only controlled from the main control console but also features a local operation panel conveniently placed for easy observation of the platform. The local panel is equipped with a keyed power switch, safety interlock, running indicator, and an emergency stop button.

Near the stage lift in the pit, warning lights should be set up to alert for safety.
