详情描述

Worm graphite, also known as worm-like graphite, is a product derived from expanded graphite, obtained through intercalation, water washing, drying, and high-temperature expansion of natural flake graphite. It is a loose, porous, worm-like material. In addition to the inherent properties of natural graphite, such as resistance to cold and heat, corrosion, and self-lubrication, worm graphite also possesses certain characteristics not found in natural graphite, including flexibility, compressive resilience, adsorption, ecological compatibility, biocompatibility, and radiation resistance.
Expanding graphite can instantaneously expand in volume under high temperatures, transforming from flake-like to worm-like, with a loose and porous structure, increased surface area, and enhanced surface energy. The worm-like graphite can self-interlock, thereby increasing its softness, resilience, and plasticity.
