Pleated gates, also known as pleated valves, jaw valves, pleated discharge valves, electro-hydraulic pleated gates, electric pleated gates, arc valves, pleated ash discharge valves, etc.
The gate valve consists of components such as the main body, sector gate plate, shaft, gears, seals, and actuator. It is made by welding carbon steel and features a structure. Operation is flexible and reliable with no jamming. Different drive systems can meet various working conditions. Electric闸doors are equipped with electric actuators featuring overload protection to prevent motor burnout, allowing for remote operation or programmable control with adjustable reciprocating stroke and position locking. Hydraulic闸doors use electric-hydraulic actuators with full hydraulic drive, enabling stepless adjustment of both pushing and pulling forces. Pneumatic闸doors employ pneumatic actuators, which can be remotely operated or locally controlled through accessory combinations.
Operating Principle
The plate gate utilizes an electro-hydraulic push rod with full hydraulic transmission, allowing for infinite speed adjustment of both push and pull forces. The gate is manually or mechanically actuated by pushing a lever, which rotates the gear and causes the sector gate to pivot around the axis. This opens the two sector gates to the sides, allowing the material to fall. Once the receiving device is fully loaded, the mechanical actuator moves the lever to reset the sector gate, closing off the falling material.
Usage Instructions
Pleated gate valves: Firstly, when installing, please note the medium flow direction marked on the valve body. When connecting the flanges, add a sealing washer and then tighten the bolts evenly. Secondly, during operation, identify the opening and closing direction of the wing-shaped gate plate and correctly wire the actuator. This applies even during operation. Regular lubrication of all drive components is essential to extend the lifespan of the labial valve; improper operation will increase its wear.
Usage
Pit gates are suitable for compacted bulk density.≤2.5t/m3 various ores, coal, coke, slag, chemical products, and other bulk materials, widely used in the bottom discharge of storage for building materials, metallurgy, chemicals, glass, and other industries.
