Glass-fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) covers are added above the wastewater pond, isolating the pond's exhaust gases from the air. Exhaust outlets are added to the exterior of the collection hood, and ventilation pipes are installed. The exhaust gases enter the exhaust gas pollution tower through the ventilation pipes. To enhance exhaust gas collection, a GRP fan is installed in front of the pollution tower, which draws the exhaust gases into the tower. Inside the tower, the exhaust gases are treated with two-stage spray irrigation. If the gases are acidic, alkaline solution is used for circulation absorption; if alkaline, acidic solution is used for circulation spray absorption. The exhaust gas treatment efficiency exceeds 90%, and the emissions meet the relevant standards.

The advantages of the wastewater pond cover

1. Equipped with the closure properties of solid glass steel plate, it can replace metal plates and reinforced concrete plates in many locations requiring high closure. A prime example is the cable trench covers, where the corrosion resistance of metal covers is poor, and the strength of reinforced concrete covers is insufficient, making them gradually being replaced by sewage pool covers.
