The E5052B 10 MHz to 7 GHz Signal Source Analyzer features various enhanced performance characteristics (some of which are listed in the key features mentioned above). Moreover, it offers the highest throughput in the world, excellent availability for characterizing VCOs or other types of high-frequency signal sources, and clock jitter assessment for high-speed data communication systems.

When paired with E5053A, the frequency range of E5052B can reach up to 26.5 GHz; combined with E5053A and Agilent 11970 series mixers, it can go as high as 110 GHz.

The E5052B SSA has a wide range of applications, including: RF/uW/mmW oscillators, VCOs, system reference clocks, LAN modules, high-speed timing modules, SerDes chips, and high-speed data converters (ADC/DAC).
