Alumina silicate needle felt is a thermal and refractory material, specifically a type of insulation produced by needle-punching long alumina silicate fibers, using an electric arc furnace process as the raw material.
Features
Alumina-silicate needled felt is made by melting high-quality coking coal at over 2,000 degrees Celsius and blending it with other additives to solidify, possessing numerous special properties such as good elongation, strong shock resistance, light weight, excellent heat insulation, and strong stability. It does not deform at temperatures of several thousand degrees, making it commonly used in various fields including the chemical industry, construction, electronics, aerospace, military industry, and air conditioning and refrigeration.
Advantages
Color is pristine white, with uniform dimensions, integrating fire resistance, heat insulation, and thermal preservation in one. It contains no binders. Under neutral and oxidizing atmospheres, the aluminum silicate needled felt maintains excellent tensile strength, toughness, and fiber structure over long-term use. Temperature resistance ranges from 950-1400°C. It boasts chemical stability, thermal stability, sound absorption and noise reduction properties, high tensile strength, low thermal conductivity; and low heat capacity.
