Boiler corrosion and scale inhibitors are available in two methods:
A boiler with a water tank or reservoir but no economizer allows for the direct addition of chemicals into the tank or reservoir, which are then delivered into the boiler through the water supply system.
Another method involves directly pouring the medication into the furnace using a medicated funnel.
Before adding the medication, dissolve it in 60-70°C hot water, filter it, and you may opt for intermittent dosing, which means adding it once per shift or in a single addition.
After adding the medication, it is important to monitor the furnace water indicators, with a pH level between 10-12 and an optimal total alkalinity of 6-26 mmol/L.
The company conducts regular waste discharge, maintaining a discharge rate of generally 5-10% per shift, with at least one discharge per shift, each not exceeding 30-60 seconds. If there is no change in water level after discharge, inspect whether detached old scale is blocking the pipeline. If the pipeline is blocked, take timely measures.
