Product Introduction

Peripheral conveying sludge scraper is a commonly used sedimentation pool scraper equipment for urban waterworks and town sewage treatment plants. It features central water intake and sludge discharge, peripheral drainage to ensure even water flow. With a self-priming sludge discharge system utilizing liquid level difference, it is equipped with a floating scum scraper and an overload protection device. This machine is suitable for sludge discharge and渣 removal in large and medium-sized radial flow secondary sedimentation tanks.

Product Structure

The peripheral drive sludge scraper features dual (single) peripheral drive around the central pier, offering a high transmission torque and energy-saving performance. It employs central water intake and sludge discharge, peripheral drainage, ensuring uniform water flow, and utilizes a self-priming system powered by the liquid level difference.

The peripheral drive sludge scraper is mainly composed of the driving mechanism, main beam, central rotating support, guide tube, sludge scraping system, slag discharge hopper, flushing mechanism, articulated scraper, skimming plate, skimming hopper, outlet triangular flange, floating sludge baffle, and control box, etc.

Working Principle

Wastewater diffuses uniformly outward radially from the center of the pool via an inlet pipe, while sludge in suspension settles at the bottom after sedimentation. The clarified liquid is discharged out of the pool through an overflow weir plate. The sludge scraper moves from the pool perimeter to the central mud collection channel, being pushed out of the pool by the water pressure. The main beam, driven by peripheral driving devices, rotates around a central pivot support and moves at a linear velocity of 2.0 m/min along the pool top. The lower part of the main beam is connected to supports and sludge scraper blades. A float scum scraper is set near the liquid surface, extending to a hinge-type scum rake. As the main beam rotates, the scum scraper removes floating debris from the pool center towards the perimeter, collecting it in the hinge-type scum rake area. The collected debris is then moved around the pool perimeter by the main unit to a skimming bucket, where it is scraped into the bucket by the scum rake's hinge movement and discharged out of the pool.
