Stair Tread Tile Installation Method:Firstly, it should be noted that the standard adhesive sequence for normal stair treads is from top to bottom for ease of installation (wooden floor installation methods are excluded, focusing only on ceramic or stone treads). When installing tiles or stone treads on a staircase in use, the work must be divided into two stages, performed in two separate sessions to maintain normal passage. The basic steps, for example, with a concrete structural staircase foundation, are as follows: cleaning and removing obstacles → laying out lines → applying water-swept mortar (plain cement mortar) → adhesive mortar for attaching side panels → leveling with semi-dry mortar → attaching platform boards with plain cement mortar → pressing edges with mortar → removing excess mortar for the next step → cleaning and wiping to finish the surface → repeat these steps continuously to the bottom → water curing once after 36 hours → finally, use grout to fill gaps and clean up.

Stair tread tile installation precautions:
1. A focus on the safety of home staircases, while also considering economy. There, economy includes the cost of staircase tread height in home decoration, typically ranging from 180mm to 200mm, with public spaces designed for 130mm to 160mm. Secondly, the depth away from the center, generally designed between 230mm to 250mm, should not be less than 220mm. The depth design should step by step be less than 300mm, as two steps are insufficient and lead to exhaustion.
2. Selection of step width, generally for residential staircases, the step width is chosen at 800mm, with the hole space increasing accordingly.
