A magnetostrictive level gauge is a highly precise measuring instrument capable of continuous level and interface measurements, providing analog signal outputs for monitoring and control. This product can fully replace electrical float level gauges. It has no mechanical force transmission mechanism, offering significantly higher reliability than electrical floats. It is unaffected by medium density and temperature changes, reflecting the true liquid level with much greater accuracy than electrical floats. Installation and calibration do not require liquid level changes, saving time and effort, far superior to electrical floats. The price is comparable to or lower than that of electrical floats, making it convenient to replace the original installation float with a magnetostrictive level gauge. I. II. Product Composition:
The basic structure includes electronic conversion components with signal processing and inductive electronic elements housed within stainless steel or non-magnetic material tubes.
Section 3: Operating Principle:
The magnetic expansion liquid level gauge consists of three parts: a measuring tube, a float, and an electronic transmitter. The outer tube of the measuring tube is a stainless steel protective tube, and the interior is a magnetic expansion wire; the float moves up or down along the measuring tube as the liquid level rises or falls. The float is equipped with a permanent magnet, creating a magnetic field around it; the electronic transmitter periodically emits current pulses, known as start pulses. These pulses propagate downward along the magnetic expansion wire, and in the process, generate a magnetic field around them. The moment the two magnetic fields meet, a torque is produced, acting on the magnetic expansion wire, forming a return pulse. This pulse travels upward at a fixed speed and is received by the electronic transmitter. By measuring the time interval between the start pulse and the return pulse, the liquid level height can be accurately determined.
