1. OverviewWYQ-80 Bubble-Type Water Level Gauge
The WYQ-80 bubble water level gauge is ideal for environments requiring continuous water level measurement. As it doesn't require a water level well, it's perfect for monitoring water levels at hydrological stations, reservoirs, hydraulic power station surge tanks, dam pressure pipes, and upstream and downstream water levels. It boasts easy installation and maintenance, flexible operation, stable and reliable performance, and high accuracy.
The WYQ-80 water level gauge employs a CHR1000 digital silicon capacitive filled oil core as the pressure detection unit. The CHR1000 digital silicon capacitive filled oil core is an innovative filled oil core designed using a digital silicon capacitive sensor as the sensing element, produced through the world's advanced 3D-MEMS technology. Due to the high integration of digital silicon capacitors and the features of 3D-MEMS technology, it simultaneously measures the temperature at the measuring point along with the pressure, ensuring high accuracy in pressure measurement of typically 0.05%. It also offers advantages such as low power consumption, corrosion resistance, radiation resistance, anti-interference, and the ability for long-term pressure application compared to other sensors.
2. Working Principle
The air pump inside the bubble level gauge produces compressed air, which flows through the air duct and enters the gas chamber at predetermined intervals. Inside the chamber, bubbles uniformly rise and enter the water.
The liquid level (h) over the bubble chamber holes is related to the hydrostatic pressure (P) inside the measuring tube as follows:
P = ρgh
So, assuming the liquid's density remains constant, there is a certain linear relationship between the liquid level and the air pressure inside the measuring tube. By measuring the air pressure inside the tube, you can calculate the current water level. This is the basic principle of how bubble level gauges measure liquid levels.
