Granular activated carbon is made from coal, coconut shell, and wood shavings, and is finely processed through a series of production techniques. It has a black, cylindrical granular appearance.

Widely applied in gas treatment, wastewater treatment, desulfurization and denitrification, solvent recovery, nitrogen generators, air separation equipment, and paint spray workshops.
