Product Description:
VMP(R) vertical multi-stage centrifugal pump features compact and rational structure, small installation footprint, light weight, smooth operation, and easy maintenance. It is equipped with specially designed mechanical seals to prevent leakage of the transported fluid. This type of pump is capable of conveying freshwater and seawater at temperatures not exceeding 80 degrees Celsius.
Suitable for fire protection, refrigeration systems, and water supply for industrial, agricultural, high-rise buildings, hotels, deep well pumping, and the conveyance of fresh water from rivers and seas.
VMP (R) hot water type conveyance temperature not exceeding 130 degrees, suitable for heating, bathrooms, and hot and cold water circulation.
Cautionary Notes:
Ensure the pump shaft (pump rotor) is lifted 1~2mm upwards when connecting it to the motor, and then tighten the bolts on the coupling.
2. Prior to starting the pump, the pump rotor must be manually rotated to ensure it feels smooth and operates freely.
3. Prior to starting the pump, it must be filled with water (until water sprays out from the bolts of the pump's discharge section), then close the outlet valve gate and the pressure gauge, as well as the vacuum gauge's plug.
4. Please regularly inspect for any water leakage from the lower pressure cover of the pump coupling. Under normal conditions, there should be no leakage or only a minimal amount of liquid inside the cover. In case of significant leakage, adjust or replace the mechanical seal inside the cover.
5. Maintenance (VMP)
After 1000 hours of operation, the pump should be inspected. The radial clearance between the impeller and the sealing ring, due to wear, should be replaced promptly if it exceeds 0.5mm. (Mechanical seals, copper water blades, and shaft sleeves should be replaced annually.)
6. Shutdown (VMP)
Gradually close the outlet valve and pressure gauge, the vacuum gauge plug, then shut off the motor. If the ambient temperature is low, release the water in the pump to prevent it from cracking due to freezing. When the pump is to be stopped for a long period, disassemble the pump, dry the parts, apply anti-rust oil to the sliding surfaces, and store it properly.
