A single photo inspection captures the moment immediately after the mold is opened and the product is not ejected, confirming the absence of serious defects and checking for any sticking in the second half of the mold.
Second photo inspection involves taking a photo before the product is pushed out by the ejector pin, to confirm the inside of the mold, checking for any product sticking to the mold or foreign matter left, as well as whether the ejector pin and slider are properly in place.
Three photographs are taken upon the placement of the inserts and before the mold closes. They confirm the correct placement and number of inserts. Any abnormality is accurately detected by the mold monitor, which then prevents the mold from closing and triggers an alarm. Additionally, safety door alarm cancellation and reset functions are also included.
