The twin-screw extruder gearbox serves the following functions:

1. Acceleration and deceleration, commonly referred to as the variable speed twin-screw extruder gearbox.

2. Change the transmission direction, for instance, we can use two sector gears to vertically transmit force to another rotating shaft.

3. Modify the torque of rotation. Under the same power conditions, the faster the gear rotates, the smaller the torque the shaft experiences; conversely, it's greater.

4. Clutch Function: We can separate two originally engaged gears to achieve the purpose of disconnecting the engine from the load. For example, brake clutches, etc.

5. Distribute power. For instance, we can use one engine to drive multiple driven shafts via a gearbox main shaft, thereby enabling a single engine to power multiple loads.
