Ultra-pure water equipment is a water treatment system that utilizes reverse osmosis and electrodeionization technology to produce ultra-pure water.
Under the influence of the direct current electric field, cations and anions in the ion exchange resin within the freshwater chamber migrate towards the negative and positive poles, respectively, along the channels formed by the resin and the membrane. Cations pass through the cation exchange membrane, while anions pass through the anion exchange membrane, entering the concentrated water chamber to form concentrated water.
·Simultaneously, cations and anions in the water are exchanged with hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions in the ion exchange resin, forming ultra-pure water (high-purity water). The super-limiting current causes a continuous regeneration of the ion exchange resin by the large amounts of hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions produced by water electrolysis.
