Reclaimed Water Reuse Project

Shandong Xingyu Gloves Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer specializing in the research, development, and sales of labor protection gloves. The company boasts state-of-the-art production equipment and technology, integrating weaving, core knitting, and dipping processes. We produce a wide range of products including natural latex dipped gloves, nitrile latex dipped gloves, PVC dipped gloves, PU dipped gloves, foam gloves, abrasive gloves, dot-molded gloves, cut-resistant gloves, and disposable nitrile gloves, with over 100 varieties, with a daily output exceeding 1.5 million pairs. "Xingyu" gloves are favored by consumers for their superior quality, excellent performance, and stylish appearance.

The rapid development of Xingyu Gloves in recent years, coupled with the leaders' high regard for environmental protection, has led to the construction of a 3,000-cubic-meter wastewater treatment facility by our Guangbo Environmental Protection Co., Ltd. in 2014, specifically designed to handle industrial safety gloves wastewater. The main treatments include wastewater from salt spray lines of safety gloves, nitrile gloves, and latex gloves, etc. The designed comprehensive COD is 4,000.

Jinan Guangbo Environmental Protection Waste Water Treatment Co., Ltd. undertook the Phase I reclaimed water reuse project for the wastewater treatment station of Xingyu Gloves in 2015, recycling the treated wastewater from the Phase I wastewater treatment station. The effluent from the Phase I station is fully deep-treated and reused through ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis systems. This reclaimed water is used for the adhesive application in the glove production line, significantly conserving water resources.

Due to the rapid development of Star宇 Gloves and the continuous influx of orders, considering the maintenance and repair of the initial wastewater recycling system, our company constructed a backup secondary wastewater recycling system in 2016. The secondary system is identical to the initial one, with both serving as backups for each other. This ensures that the wastewater treatment station operates year-round without interruption, guaranteeing the water supply for the glove production facility while minimizing the possibility of external discharge.

With Star Universe's rapid growth and our solid reputation and proven wastewater treatment technology during our collaboration, we have once again signed a contract with Star Universe Gloves in October 2018 for the second phase of a 6,000 cubic meter wastewater treatment plant and phase three of the reclaimed water reuse project, with a total investment exceeding 80 million. This is mainly due to the expansion of Star Universe's safety gloves production and the addition of 24 new disposable gloves production lines, resulting in a large amount of wastewater. Therefore, we have been entrusted again to build a second phase 6,000 cubic meter wastewater treatment plant and the配套 wastewater reuse system engineering.

The project was put into operation and use in April 2019 through the joint efforts of both parties. The effluent of the wastewater treatment plant meets all design requirements. The treated wastewater undergoes further ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis treatment before being reused in the production workshop, achieving the goal of reducing and zero-discharge of industrial wastewater. The responsible person of Xingyu Gloves, with a sense of responsibility towards the environment, high standards, and strong social responsibility and brand appeal, made a significant investment in the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, working together with us to build the first-phase comprehensive wastewater treatment system.
