Nitrile gloves produce a significant amount of wastewater during the single-use gloves manufacturing process, yet the pollution level is relatively low, with a COD of 350 mg/L and high total nitrogen levels. This is primarily due to the raw materials used in the production process of single-use gloves, the wastewater generated from nitrate and acid/base washing, with nitrates existing in the wastewater as nitrate nitrogen, contributing to the high total nitrogen levels. Therefore, Guangbo Environmental Protection, with its past experience in treating similar wastewater, has adopted a multi-stage A/O wastewater treatment process. After pretreatment and multi-stage A/O treatment, the effluent meets national discharge standards and then proceeds to the multi-media filter + RO reverse osmosis process unit to achieve the wastewater recycling requirements.

Single-use gloves wastewater production lines are available in two types: single-membrane and double-membrane, with different production capacities. The double-membrane line produces nitrile gloves with higher wastewater concentrations. Therefore, during the entire treatment process, separate design is required.
