Basic Parameters


DU1040L/S frame solenoid, dimensions: 40mm (L) x 29mm (W) x 24mm (H), movable shaft size: Φ10mm. U-shaped design, energized attraction and de-energized reset. Stroke up to 12mm available; pull-type structure, connection method and working style can be customized as required.


Structure and Working Principle


Ⅰ Structure Composition

The DU1040L/S series is composed of basic components such as the top cover, yoke, fixed core, movable core, spring, and spool.


The 1040L/S series yoke and fixed core form the magnetic flux transmission section; the 1040L/S series spool, wire, enamel wire, etc., make up the magnetic field excitation section; the 1040L/S series movable components constitute the magnetic field action section; the spring serves as the reset section.


II Principle of Operation

When applying DC power to the DU1040L/S electromagnet, the coil's magnetic field excites the magnetic field in the energizing section, which transmits magnetic force to the magnetic field in the acting section. This results in the creation of two different poles, utilizing the principle of opposite poles attracting to achieve the action. Upon power off, the spring return section resets.
