ZKTJ and ZKTD vacuum switches are suitable for use as arc chambers in various types of vacuum contactors, and are assembled with various protective devices to form vacuum electromagnetic starters. The vacuum tube consists of moving and stationary contacts, a metal shielding cover, a bellows, and a sealed container made of ceramic rings. The bellows is welded to the stationary contact and the flange of the sealed container, ensuring that the vacuum inside the container remains unaffected during the axial movement of the moving contact. The mechanism separates the moving and stationary contacts, forming a plasma of metal vapor in the gap between the contacts. As the current passes through zero, the metal vapor decreases until a vacuum state appears between the contacts. The ground vacuum medium has high insulation strength and a fast recovery speed, so the recovery voltage between the contacts cannot puncture the gap, and the circuit is interrupted. The vacuum tube has the advantages of strong interrupting capacity, no visible arc, and allows frequent operation.
