The electric heating forced-air oven is an essential piece of equipment in a standard laboratory. Here's a guide on what to consider when selecting an appropriate drying oven.
When selecting, please note the following points (this document is for reference only):
Our company's blow-dry cabinets are available in both desktop and upright constructions.
The Taiwanese-style construction (Taiwan-style electric heat convection drying oven) refers to the main body and auxiliary body (controlling panel) being arranged on both sides, with the air ducts positioned on the sides, creating a degree of convection within the chamber; the inner dimensions can be customized according to customer requests.
The vertical construction (vertical forced-air drying oven) features the main body and sub-body arranged in a staggered pattern, creating vertical convection within the chamber. The size of the vertical construction workshop can be customized according to customer requests.
2. Selection of the electric heating forced-air drying oven size: The size of the workspace can be determined by summing up the dimensions of the experimental items. During the drying process, the number and arrangement of the items in the workspace affect the uniformity of the temperature. When a higher requirement for temperature uniformity is needed, it is recommended to increase the dimensions or choose a slightly larger model of the drying oven. The items should not be placed too closely together to ensure proper air convection within the workspace. Maintain a gap of 2cm or more between the item samples and the inner wall or the inlets and outlets to promote external air convection in the workspace.
3. The selection of temperature range is determined by the common temperatures used: Our company's forced-air drying oven has three temperature ranges: RT (+10~250℃), RT (+10~300℃), 100℃~400℃, and 100℃~500℃.High-Temperature Blower Drying OvenIdeal operating temperatures are RT+10~230°C, RT+10~280°C, 100~300°C, and 100~400°C, as the instrument will automatically shut down upon reaching the MAX temperature; we recommend using it within these temperature ranges.
(When temperatures exceed 300°C, please use a high-temperature forced-air drying oven with a temperature range of 100~400°C or 100°C~500°C.)
4. The electric hot-air circulating oven generally has a uniform heating rate of 3~5℃/min. It heats up quickly at high temperatures and slowly at low temperatures, with faster heating in summer and slower heating in winter. The heating rate can be increased by boosting the heating power. However, as the heating power of the oven is increased, the overshoot of the constant temperature will also increase.
5. Should there be a need to cease multi-section heating, maintain temperature control, or regulate the heating rate, a programmable temperature controller should be selected.
